Team Leadership: Supervise routing, dispatch, and drivers to meet productivity, quality, and service metrics. Employee Management: Carry out hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution in line with company policies and applicable laws. Optimization: Analyze and improve transportation activities, including routes, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs . Accident Management: The Transportation Supervisor will assist with conducting thorough and objective fleet accident investigations, contribute to root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions and training are implemented. Scheduling: Schedule drivers weekly, taking their licenses (commercial or noncommercial) into consideration. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet legal requirements, including FMCSA, DOT, CARB, IFTA, IRP, UCR, BIT, and other applicable regulations. Fleet Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of trucks, tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
