Provides clients with very clear definitions of recovery and its components. Intentionally share your story as appropriate, providing hope and help in changing patterns and behavior. Be well informed about trauma and explore with clients their experiences and support them in getting appropriate resources aide in their recovery. Help patients develop a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). Help persons in crisis explore options to benefit in recovery and maintaining stability. Provide culturally-sensitive and age-specific services. Focus positively on emotional growth, strengths, and recovery goals. Encourage clients to become self-directed and focused on their strengths. Provide resources beneficial in recovery.
