Summer Camp Overnight Counselor

Make a difference in the lives of autistic kids and adults, be an overnight summer camp counselor! Camp Royall, owned and operated by the Autism Society of North Carolina, offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with autism while gaining invaluable hands-on experience and As a Camp Royall Counselor, you will: Create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for campers to learn, grow, and thrive. Assist campers in all aspects of personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, and toileting. Gain specialized training and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Lead and participate in activities that foster learning, independence, and fun. Work closely with fellow staff members to ensure an enriching and positive camp experience. Be part of a passionate, dedicated team making a lasting impact. We provide Comprehensive Training (May 19 – May 29, 2026). Those unable to attend training, still encouraged to apply! Applicant must be 18+ years of age and have a high school degree. Be available to work overnight Sundays- Fridays during camp weeks Salary: $350-$500 weekly (depending on experience) + housing and board.
