Truck Driver Job Overview The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles to transport aggregates, sand, equipment, and other materials to various job sites. Equipment may include semi-tractor trailers and triaxle dump trucks. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations, including proper documentation. Check and maintain fluid levels, tires, lights, and other critical systems to ensure safe operation. Perform routine maintenance such as greasing trucks and trailers. Maintain accurate delivery logs and daily mileage records. Secure and tarp loads when required. Ensure product quality during transport and delivery. Perform minor servicing and report major mechanical issues to a supervisor. Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report any issues promptly. Weigh trucks at designated scales to ensure legal load compliance. Follow dispatch instructions and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned.
