Registered Nurse - Float/Professional Services

POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice. The Float department serves as the Clinic’s full-time float pool, providing coverage to departments during times of vacancies, medical leave, vacation requests or sick days. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program, required • Current state licensure, required • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a clean driving record, required • CPR certification, preferred QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information • Composure in fast paced, high pressure environments • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail oriented • Strong multitasking and independent work capabilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Accurate documentation skills • Ability to follow established workflows consistently WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with travel time to/from the satellite clinic locations based on coverage schedule. Employees are also responsible for their own transportation to/from satellite clinic locations.
