Company Driver

Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages. May load and unload vehicle. Strictly obey all traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition immediately reporting any mechanical problems; regularly complete vehicle inspection report. Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles. Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Pick up PO’s and ensure the accurate and timely completion daily delivery logs. Read maps and follow GPS and/or written & verbal geographic directions. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to manager. Must perform job in a safe manner and observe all safety rules and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
