The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic corporate and commercial lawyer to join our high-performing in-house Legal, Compliance Risk team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Legal Governance, you will play a trusted advisory role across a diverse and dynamic business operating throughout Australia and New Zealand. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial, regulatory and dispute-related matters, partnering closely with key stakeholders and senior leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making. You'll enjoy exposure to all facets of the business, with a strong focus on commercial contracting, negotiation and risk management. Based at our Wacol, Brisbane facilities, this role also offers the chance to work closely with stakeholders across multiple locations, with occasional travel as required. What You'll Be Doing As a key member of the Legal, Compliance Risk team, you will: Provide commercially focused legal advice on contracts, tenders and pre-contractual documentation. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements. Partner with operational and business leaders to identify, assess and mitigate legal and compliance risks. Deliver practical guidance on regulatory obligations and industry best practices. Support the management of disputes, litigation and external legal providers. Develop and deliver training to enhance legal and compliance awareness across the business. Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance, risk and compliance frameworks. Act as a trusted legal adviser, providing strategic support across a wide range of business initiatives.
