We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse Full Time for our program. This position is responsible for measuring and dispensing methadone and other medications in accordance with doctors' orders, while adhering to regulations set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH). Additionally, the role involves providing nursing services and maintaining medical records for the Opioid Treatment Program, along with related services. This position is exclusively for day shift hours. Tuesday - Saturday 5AM to 2PM All applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, along with a comprehensive background check and a TB test. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks are necessary for the role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for ordering, receiving, dispensing, and record-keeping medication according to applicable rules and regulations. Supports patient treatment by coordinating with program Supervisors and Behavioral Health Clinicians, ensuring accurate dispensing of all medications per physician orders. Responsible for dosing and documenting all methadone doses within scheduled clinic hours. Report inconsistencies and problems regarding the handling of controlled substances to your immediate Supervisor. Maintains a clean and safe work area and immediately reports any potential hazards to the immediate Supervisor. Observe patients for urine analyses. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : N/A
