Temporary Warehouse Receiving and Shipping Coordinator, Part- Time (Non-exempt) POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of the Warehouse Receiving and Shipping Coordinator is to receive, monitor and accurately process inbound merchandise shipments through the Museum’s POS and inventory control systems. This position will also process, package and ship outgoing merchandise to customers for purchases made in the Museum Shop or online. The Warehouse Receiving and Shipping Coordinator will promote and represent the Denver Art Museum and the Shop by modeling the museum values to all staff, volunteers, and visitors. This position reports to the Senior Merchandise Buyer. Pay: The hiring hourly/salary range for the position is $19.29 – $23.75. Please note : Parking at the museum is paid-only. Position type: This position will not be covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME-CWU . What You’ll Do Review sku movement daily and work with sales floor staff to restock merchandise. Receive and document all inbound shipments from vendors, checking for overages, shortages, and damaged goods. Process and create merchandise tags for the goods and ensure the goods are accurately ticketed before being displayed on the sales floor. Reconcile any shipping problems with vendors and shippers. Maintain accurate vendor shipment records. Create new methods to better keep track of shipping discrepancies and errors. Keep accurate customer shipment records and handle all customer questions concerning shipments. Maintain an accurate inventory of shipping supplies and partner with management to order additional items prior to becoming low in stock. Maintain stockroom in an orderly organized fashion and create new ways to better organize the stockroom for more efficiency. Process, package and ship all E-commerce transactions in a timely manner. Handle all E-commerce customer issues, including emailing customers when there are issues and processing returns. Perform tasks with minimal supervision from the supervisor. Assist visitors and staff in a consistently courteous, professional, and friendly manner. Work with Volunteers in a positive and constructive manner that demonstrates their value to the shop and the organization. Trash, recycle removal daily/weekly. Consistent usage of the Racial Equity Lens in day-to-day operations.
Pay
