Security Officer – Part-Time (Weekend Night Shift) Hours: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Job Summary We’re seeking a reliable Part-Time Security Officer for our weekend night shift to help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role includes campus patrols, monitoring activity, and supporting clinical staff with safety needs. Key Responsibilities Campus Safety Maintain order and enforce hospital rules. Patrol campus regularly and secure doors/areas. Monitor unfamiliar vehicles or individuals and report concerns. Use video surveillance and communication systems effectively. Report safety issues or equipment needs to the Security Director. Security Booth Check in/out all visitors using the Visitor App. Monitor CCTV within the booth. Support to Nursing Assist with patient disturbances as directed. Support police or parole officers when on-site. Retrieve patient belongings for discharges. Conduct patient, unit, or vehicle searches as needed. Fire & Reporting Conduct assigned fire drills and document results. Send a shift summary email to the designated mailing list.
