About ATTIC: ATTIC stands for "Alternatives to Traditional Incarceration of Citizens." We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing interventions that enable individuals to avoid unnecessary levels of incarceration, enhance community safety and provide a setting that facilitates treatment and the reduction of recidivism. We operate residential and other correctional programs throughout Wisconsin that provide case management, counseling and treatment groups, vocational training and high-risk client monitoring and supervision. About the Role ATTIC is currently recruiting for a male Urinalysis Technician to provide community-based services to male correctional clients following their release and transition back to their home community. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring program compliance and following established procedures for drug and alcohol testing of correctional clients via breathalyzer and urinalysis screening. Testing is performed on a random basis or determined by the daily schedule received by clients via phone message. Observation of testing requires the Urinalysis Technician to be the same gender of the client providing sample. The person in this position must demonstrate professional conduct and respect for each client, maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards. Expected hours are approximately 3 shifts per month Duties include, but are not limited to : Observe collection of urinalysis and breathalyzer testing. Accurately document each test sample and results, along with summaries and reports. Follow chain of custody protocol during testing procedure. Maintain and update client files on a regular basis. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the facility. Report any concerns to immediate supervisor. Inventory and stock supplies and testing equipment; order as needed. Perform clerical duties including filing, answering phone calls, and copying/scanning.
