Facility Maintenance Mechanic

An employee in this class is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and repairs as needed, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry, at Town facilities, Work includes inspecting and servicing HVAC systems, electrical systems and plumbing systems. Being able to troubleshooting problems, replacing parts and making minor repairs as needed. This position requires participation in a rotational on-call program, including call-back for emergency maintenance and repair activities, and response during severe weather events and other emergency situations, as required. This position reports to the Facility Services Supervisor. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
