About the role
Job Description: Must have SS Blackbelt Responsibilities • Drive and monitor implementation of Procurement activities (i.e., SAP projects, strategy implementation) at site • Support site Working Capital initiatives; Identify and lead opportunities to reduce inventory costs and material lead-times • Support data accuracy within site’s systems • Identify and drive local & regional savings opportunities • Provide regular procurement updates (financial, supply issues, risks, key project updates, etc.) to the site Site Liaison Manager • Track and report performance metrics for key suppliers • Support site finance with budgeting and standard setting processes • Assist sites with material costs for new products and work with commodity teams to establish supply chains, as needed • Lead and coordinate procurement strategy events and cost reduction reviews • Support key supplier relationship management • Support data accuracy within site’s systems Complexity • Coordinating support from multiple commodity teams and working within a matrix organization • Developing and managing relationships with other Procurement staff remotely • Any interruption of supply results in immediate and extended impact on revenue stream • Adapting and responding to regularly changing business requirements • Balancing both strategic and operational requirements Key Accountabilities • Aide in the Procurement related activities: • Implementation of a SAP system • Reducing inventory carrying costs • Purchase Price Variance forecasting • Serve as a Procurement point of contact for the site and a site contact for Procurement • Alignment of Production Procurement activities with site priorities • Resolution of Procurement-owned supply issues • Delivery of excellent customer service to site stakeholders Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management • Thorough understanding of procurement strategies, supply risks and/or supply chain management • Understanding of manufacturing operations and related functions • Experience influencing and managing senior stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience facilitating groups of individuals to create solutions, and delivering continuous improvement programs • Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point capabilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a GMP environment • Project management experience • Customer account management experience • Experience working in a multi-national organization • Sound practical knowledge of Six and Lean Sigma, OE capability • Relevant procurement experience • Results driven • Self Starter Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management • Thorough understanding of procurement strategies, supply risks and/or supply chain management • Understanding of manufacturing operations and related functions • Experience influencing and managing senior stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience facilitating groups of individuals to create solutions, and delivering continuous improvement programs • Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point capabilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a GMP environment • Project management experience • Customer account management experience • Experience working in a multi-national organization • Sound practical knowledge of Six and Lean Sigma, OE capability • Relevant procurement experience • Results driven • Self Starter
