Position Summary The Psychological Sciences adjunct teaches courses in the Psychological Sciences program, preparing and delivering in-person learning activities designed to achieve course outcomes. Specifically, this position is needed to teach two courses, Social Psychology and Psychology of Personality. The adjunct will develop course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and content for the Course Management System (CMS). They will evaluate and grade students’ class work, online work, assignments, papers, and examinations, while holding a minimum of two regularly scheduled office hours per week throughout the semester. They must maintain and submit student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation by specified deadlines, as well as prepare and maintain course materials within the Salem College Course Management System for each course taught and communicate with enrolled students through a Salem email account. Additionally, participate in periodic meetings with supervisors, the division, or the College related to teaching responsibilities, as well as training and professional development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teaches courses in Psychological Sciences program.
