About the Role Are you a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact? National Counseling Group (NCG), is seeking a Functional Family Therapist (FFT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with youth and their families to address challenging behaviors through a structured, evidence-based treatment model. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, engage families in active, change-oriented therapy, and implement individualized treatment plans focused on achieving meaningful outcomes. Carrying a caseload of 10–12 clients, you will collaborate closely with families and community systems to build trust, ensure engagement, and support long-term success. Your work will include maintaining clear documentation aligned with the FFT model, participating in supervision and training, and delivering direct clinical services that make a tangible difference in the lives of those you serve. As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide: Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes, assessment of systemic strengths and needs, comprehensive safety plan, and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviors Carry a caseload of 10-12 clients Engage the entire family unit in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement Implement problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, case outcome review, and strategy revision procedure Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT model Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT treatment Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT model Participate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activities This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role. Compensation This role is compensated on a variable rate model, designed to reward productivity while providing consistent earning opportunity through established referral volume. Compensation: $51,993 - $73,494 Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience. This is a variable rate non-exempt position with unlimited earning potential.
