Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology (RN)

Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology (RN) in Bethesda, MD . The compensation package includes competitive pay and flexible contract work opportunities. Saratoga Medical is seeking a Gastroenterology/Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal and endoscopic procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program Successful completion of the NCLEX examination Current unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Minimum of one (1) year of Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, or related specialty nursing experience within the preceding three (3) years Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal and endoscopic procedures Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Monitor patient safety and quality standards of care Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Perform additional nursing duties as assigned Saratoga Medical Center, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discharge, compensation, or any other term or condition of employment on the basis of race, religion, color, age, sex, national origin, or disability.
