Child and Family Therapist

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full-time Child and Family Therapist to provide clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services to children and families in community-settings. (Bonuses are paid half after 90 days of full-time employment and half after 180 days of full-time employment.) WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR? Conduct assessments and treatment services according to Southwestern policies. Perform diagnostic evaluations and emergency/crisis intervention for children and their families. Provide individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy to youth and their families, either in the home/community or school setting. Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect progress and document treatment plans and goals. Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames. Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies. Meet efficiency standards which include chart management, production requirements and patient contact standards.
