Social Worker – Children's Services

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children's Services team, based in Newton.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Manage cases within CASP, Child Protection, PLO, Court, and Locality teams.
• Complete assessments of children and families.
• Support children subject to Child Protection Plans.
• Undertake pre-proceedings and court-related social work.
• Safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
• Work directly with children, families, and partner agencies.
• Prepare assessments, reports, and care plans.
• Apply the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
• Follow Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
• Use a strengths-based, child-focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Registration with Social Care Wales.
• A minimum of three years’ experience within a Children’s Social Work setting.
• Relevant post-qualified Social Work experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK
