About the role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children's Services team, based in Newton.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage cases within CASP, Child Protection, PLO, Court, and Locality teams.
- Complete assessments of children and families.
- Support children subject to Child Protection Plans.
- Undertake pre-proceedings and court-related social work.
- Safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- Work directly with children, families, and partner agencies.
- Prepare assessments, reports, and care plans.
- Apply the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
- Follow Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
- Use a strengths-based, child-focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- A minimum of three years’ experience within a Children’s Social Work setting.
- Relevant post-qualified Social Work experience.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Right to work in the UK
