Deputy Group Finance Manager

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the group, including consolidated financial statements. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Budgeting: Coordinate the annual budgeting process for the group, working with individual business units to prepare and consolidate budgets. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis. Cash Flow Management: Manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investment. Develop and implement cash flow forecasting and management strategies. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies. Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group’s business objectives and growth plans. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board of directors. Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the group’s tax position. Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks. Develop risk management policies and procedures. Investment Management: Oversee the group’s investment activities, including capital expenditures and acquisitions. Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities. Foster a high-performance culture within the finance function. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. 15+ years of experience CMA/CA certified Experience in the food/hospitality industry is a plus.
