Job Description: Branch Manager – A Leading Stock Broking Company Location: Chennai Position Overview: The company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our branch operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring excellent client service, and achieving sales targets while fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Branch Operations: Oversee daily operations of the branch to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to maximize performance and engagement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their investment needs. Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction. Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets by developing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth. Financial Management: Monitor branch financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Prepare and present reports on branch performance to senior management. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify and mitigate operational risks to safeguard company assets. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). 8 years of experience in stock broking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team effectively.
