Role Description: Data Centre Citrix NetScaler Subject Matter Expert (SME) Minimum Experience required: 5 + years of in-depth experience in field of Network, security in Data Centre environment. Type : Contract Location : RCP Campus Navi Mumbai THE ROLE: This is consultative role to assimilate the operational RUNBOOKS part of Data Centre NOC (Network Operations Center) SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Configuration and trouble shooting of switches and load balancers especially Citrix Netscaler SDX platform. Ability to troubleshoot difficult issues involving interaction between multiple pieces of Network devices like Cisco, Citrix, F5 Load Balancers. Must understand network customer support engineer tactics in applying step by step troubleshooting techniques for (1) SDX 21550 and (2)SDX 22080. F5 iApps , F5 iControl , F5 iRules , F5 ScaleN ,, Internet Content Adaptation Protocol (ICAP) support , IPv6 support , Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) , Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) support , NAT+ support , Network monitoring , Quality of Service (QoS) , SSL acceleration , Tagged VLA. Load Balancing and High Availability : Must understand network high-availability concepts like Active-Passive and Active-Active concepts. Must understand Load Balancing algorithms such as round-robin, least connections, least busy, etc. Monitoring: Knowledge about network probes used to collect statistical information. SNMP and NetFlow configuration etc., Soft skills: Excellent good communication skills, both written and verbal. QUALIFICATIONS In depth knowledge of Baseline NCE (Network Consulting Engineer) skills. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills. Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one of the following area's of specialization: Data Center Networking, Security. Hands on configuration and troubleshooting experience is must. Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
