Job Summary The Industrial Physical Therapist provides onsite physical therapy services at a large-scale construction project, focusing on injury prevention, early intervention, functional improvement, and ergonomic risk reduction. This role supports worker health and safety by helping reduce injury-related costs and promoting safe, sustainable work performance. This unique opportunity allows you to practice in an industrial and construction environment while collaborating with occupational health professionals, athletic trainers, safety teams, and other allied health specialists. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the program, improve outcomes for workers, and make a meaningful impact on both employee health and project success. Schedule: Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide onsite physical therapy evaluations and interventions within scope of practice and state regulations. Deliver early intervention services to address musculoskeletal discomfort before recordable injury occurs. Identify cases requiring medical referral and coordinate appropriate escalation. Design and implement injury prevention and movement optimization programs. Conduct ergonomic assessments and job task analyses. Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs through functional progression. Document all services accurately, timely, and in compliance with legal and program standards. Track and report trends, outcomes, and program effectiveness. Educate employees on body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices. Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, HR, and leadership teams. Maintain clinic equipment and supplies used for PT services. Comply with client policies, WorkCare standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties and assume responsibilities as identified by manager for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
