Continuing along it highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Branch Manager for our Golden Gate Branch in San Francisco. The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance and profitability of a highly performing credit union branch. This role oversees all aspects of branch operations, sales, member service, staff development, and compliance. Operating with full P&L accountability, the Branch Manager ensures that the branch meets financial goals, delivers exceptional member experiences, and maintains operational excellence and adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Drive branch-level growth through proactive business development, relationship management, and community engagement. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve deposit, loan, and membership growth targets. Monitor and manage sales performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results. Member Service Leadership: Foster a culture of exceptional service and personalized member experiences. Resolve escalated member concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure all staff are trained in product knowledge, service standards, and cross-selling techniques. Branch Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain operational controls, audit readiness, and risk management practices. Supervise cash operations and ensure proper internal controls are in place. Team Management & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Universal Bankers. Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations, coaching sessions, and training initiatives. Promote a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven work environment. Financial Management (P&L Responsibility): Manage the branch as a standalone profit-and-loss (P&L) unit. Analyze reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Control expenses, optimize operational efficiency, and maximize branch profitability.
