Bags On Hands-On When It Counts Salary Classification On-Site Employment Type ROLE SUMMARY The Commercial Project Manager oversees multiple HVAC projects at once — directing and training installers on correct procedures, efficiency, and time management across commercial buildings and custom homes. Every installation goes into current code and Brower's exceptional quality standards. This isn't a desk-only PM role. When a job needs it to stay on schedule or hit quality standards, you go “bags on” and work alongside the crew. DAY IN THE LIFE Typical Weekday 7:00 AM Job Site Rounds Visit active job sites and review crew progress against plans and schedule. 9:00 AM Submittals & Coordination Gather, review, and distribute submittals; coordinate with subs and GCs on scheduling. 11:00 AM Crew Training & Support Direct and train installers on procedure, efficiency, and time management — stepping in hands-on when a job needs it to stay on schedule. 1:00 PM Logistics & Scheduling Schedule deliveries, cranes, lifts, crews, and subs for upcoming work; issue POs through office staff. 3:00 PM Design-Build Planning Pre-site and lay out upcoming changeouts and design-build projects. 4:30 PM Wrap-Up Confirm next day's crew assignments and site logistics; flag any open items. Schedule — Full-Time Plus This position is 40-hour per week, with additional hours expected as projects demand. Schedule flexes with active job sites and deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning & Layout Lay out jobs and crews according to plans Pre-site, lay out, and complete change-outs, as well as “as per plan” and design-build projects Documentation & Submittals Read, understand, gather, submit, and distribute submittals and plans Crew Leadership & Training Direct and train installers on correct HVAC install procedures, efficiency, and time management Go “bags on” when required to keep projects on schedule or maintain quality standards Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate with subs, General Contractors, and crews, including scheduling Schedule deliveries, cranes, lifts, crews, subs, and required components for the project (POs issued by office staff) Systems & Compliance Coordinate and schedule start-ups and air balances, and train crews to do the same Maintain current EPA certification
