About the Role The role is a strategic and execution-focused role that sits at the center of the organization. You will act as a force multiplier for the CEO ensuring that priorities are clearly defined, decisions are executed effectively, and teams are aligned. This role requires someone who can zoom out to think strategically and zoom in to drive execution , often working across multiple teams and priorities simultaneously. It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and is comfortable influencing without formal authority. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Work with the CEO to shape organizational priorities and annual plans Drive high-impact strategic initiatives (program scale-up, new geographies, partnerships, pilots) Break down strategy into clear execution roadmaps, milestones, and ownership Ensure timely progress and course-correct where required 2. CEO Office & Decision Support Act as a thought partner to the CEO on key decisions Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis to support strategic decision-making Prepare high-quality briefing notes, dashboards, and decision documents Ensure follow-ups on key decisions and commitments 3. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with teams to improve alignment and execution Facilitate leadership meetings and ensure clear outcomes and follow-through Step in to solve complex, cross-functional challenges 4. Fundraising & External Engagement Support development of fundraising strategy and donor engagement plans Prepare compelling donor presentations, proposals, and reports Track fundraising pipelines and support relationship management Represent the CEO in donor and partner interactions , where required 5. Board & Stakeholder Management Coordinate and prepare board meeting decks and updates Ensure timely sharing of reports, insights, and key developments Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders 6. Special Projects & CEO Bandwidth Optimization Take ownership of special projects that require CEO attention Identify areas where CEO involvement can be optimized or delegated Ensure CEO’s time is focused on high-impact priorities What We’re Looking For Experience & Background 2 - 4 years of experience in consulting, strategy roles, startups, or the social sector Prior exposure to program design, partnerships, or fundraising is a strong advantage Experience working with senior leadership or founders preferred Core Skills & Competencies Structured Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps Execution Excellence: Strong follow-through and ability to drive outcomes Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication (especially for decks and reports) Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and align diverse teams Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with data, metrics, and dashboards Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments Personal Attributes High ownership and accountability Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality Bias for action and results Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision Passion for social impact and youth development
