Responsibilities Learn how to diagnose and repair basic systems like brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical Change oil and/or transmission fluid and filters Perform AC services on vehicles Install batteries and checks electrical systems Install and perform tire maintenance Install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems Road test vehicles Able to use All Data or Mitchell to trouble shoot and research vehicle information. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a mechanic Have an elevated level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude. Must have a valid driver’s license. Pass a pre-employment physical/background check. Capable of working any day of the week including Sundays. Have the proper tools to support your experience. ASE and AC certification is not required but is recommended Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds While on the job, employees must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc for extended periods of time Ability to work in all weather conditions Requires use of hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
