Position Description Wheeler Mission Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit, evangelical Christian ministry whose designated purpose is religious. Job Title: Volunteer Engagement Manager Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Community Engagement & Services Full or Part-time: Part-Time Team: Center for Men - Bloomington Position Summary: The Volunteer Engagement Manager oversees volunteer involvement at Wheeler Mission-Bloomington by recruiting, scheduling, selecting, screening, building relationships, and communicating with volunteers, staff, and donors. This position collaborates with staff to ensure volunteers are properly equipped and integrated into their onsite positions. This position provides support to advance Wheeler Mission-Bloomington’s strategic priorities and strengthen the effectiveness of ministry operations This is a part-time, 24-hour per week position. Occasional evening or weekend is required as job duties demand. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and some holidays and weekends.
