About the role

JOB DESCRIPTION: Willingness to carry out the mission and support the values of the Emmaus Community Ability to work as a team member, follow directions, and agree to supervision by Director of Human Resources Educate the community about the great need for Direct Support Professionals Identify new and innovative ways to advertise for and recruit new staff – ie through Social Media, print, in-person presentations, conferences, etc. Collaborate with Emmaus HR office, Development office, and Program staff as needed Develop an on-going strategy / annual plan for addressing chronic staffing shortages Prepare reports on strategies, success rates, community contacts, etc. Maintain data on turnover rates and other HR statistics Conduct outreach to schools, universities, churches, community groups, neighborhoods, job development centers, career placement offices, etc. Coordinate participation in job fairs / career days / etc. Create and post new jobs in Paycom Applicant Tracking / Indeed / Other platforms Identify and recruit potential Direct Support Professionals; make recommendations for hire and placement Identify and recruit potential candidates for all posted positions Assist with interview process as needed – Conduct all DSP interviews / coordinate with managers and participate in interviews as needed for other posted positions Conduct and follow up with Pre-Hire, Pre-Orientation, and Post-Orientation tasks including but not limited to: Reference Checks, Database and Background Checks, Physical / TB, FBI, Onboarding Trainings, and after-offer communication with new hire Coordinate Orientation and Meet and Greet; conduct Day 1 and Day 2 of Orientation as needed Work with Program and In Home Services to determine plan for new hire training and shadowing Assist with technical login support for New Hires as needed: Paycom, Outlook, Relias, Makeshift, MyODP, MedAdmin.MyODP, etc. Work in the Paycom system as it applies to Position Management, Cost Centers, Shift Differentials, Geofencing, PTO Balances, Password Reset, etc., and act as primary Liaison between Emmaus HR Office and Paycom Representatives Assist with employee benefits/ open enrollment as needed Oversee and maintain On Call Schedule Promote respectful and meaningful relationships between staff and individuals served Attend staff meetings as required Benefits Rate Details : If electing to use insurance provided by Emmaus, the following is the amount the employee is responsible to contribute per paycheck (26 pays per year). The employee contribution is based on the level of coverage that is elected for the medical plan. Dental and Vision insurance continue to be offered for all levels of coverage at no additional cost to the employee. Emmaus also covers 100% of the cost for all full time employees to have a $25,000 Life Insurance Policy, Short Term Disability Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance.
