Physician Assistant, Pain Management

Completes medical histories and physical examinations to appropriately provide care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care and within own scope of practice. Uses a systematic approach in assessing the patient’s physical, psychological, and social status to determine the need for care, the type of care to be provided, and the need for reassessment/follow-up. Demonstrates ability to perform and/or assist physician(s) and other healthcare providers with routine procedures within scope of practice and expertise. Delivers care in a non-judgmental/non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the linguistic, cultural, and spiritual needs of the patient, family, and other caretakers.
