About the role

We are looking for an A/R Specialist to join our team! Job Summary: The A/R Specialist’s primary responsibilities include client care and responding to questions regarding customer accounts. This position is also responsible for processing monthly recurring billings. In addition, this position handles document imaging received by various departments. Excellent customer service and listening skills required. The A/R Specialist must possess a take-charge attitude to problem solve, follow-up, and understand the outcomes of tasks performed. Job Requirements: Above average client relation skills and a sense of urgency are needed. A professional attitude and demeanor on the phone and in person are necessary. Multitasking, research, critical thinking, and organizational skills will be used in this position. The A/R Specialist must be detail oriented and possess good time management and prioritization skills. This position interacts with many company departments, thereby requiring an attitude that fosters a teamwork approach to problem-solving. The position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications and applicable operations programs. Job Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls from clients seeking assistance with accounts receivable. This involves researching details of account history and/or coordinating with other departments. Process monthly recurring billing and statements Document imaging Participate in the rate increase update process Participate in posting of deposits to customer accounts Client contract management Client retention to include cancelations and terminations Various projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
