Electrical Apprentice

Under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician, the Electrical Apprentice assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across facility operations, including lighting, power, and event-related systems. Assist with installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical issues using standard testing equipment Repair electrical malfunctions, including wiring, motors, and lighting systems Install wiring, conduits, fixtures, and equipment Replace defective components such as relays, switches, and motors Assist with setup of electrical systems for events Maintain lighting systems and related equipment Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other duties as assigned
