Apex Companies is currently seeking an Industrial Hygienist – Scientist II to join our team out of our Iselin, NJ office. This is a field-heavy role that includes a blend of traditional industrial hygiene and building sciences work, with responsibilities spanning exposure monitoring, environmental sampling, and indoor environmental quality assessments across a variety of project sites.
Your Responsibilities as an Industrial Hygienist:
- Conduct personal exposure monitoring and noise dosimetry
- Assist with development of personal exposure sampling plans
- Collect noise, water, air, and/or building material samples.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Prepare draft technical reports
- Industrial Hygiene Assessments of Chemical and Noise Exposures
- Indoor Environmental Quality
- Air Monitoring
- Building Materials Sampling
- Water Intrusion and Mold Assessments
- Moisture mapping
- Visible suspect biological growth assessments
- Mold sampling and clearance protocols
