About the role
As a Senior Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will serve as the primary technical strategist, bridging the gap between complex business challenges and cutting-edge technology solutions. You will lead the design and architecture of integrated ecosystems that encompass Enterprise Infrastructure, Data/AI, Application Delivery, and Robust Cyber Security. Your goal is to act as a trusted advisor, delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure environments that drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Strategy & Hybrid Architecture Integrated Design: Architect end-to-end solutions that unify compute, storage, virtualization, and backup with a "Security-First" mindset. Domain Expertise: Design high-availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks utilizing industry-leading stacks (VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, etc.). Design Data and AI based solutions based on the use cases or customer requirements. Physical Infrastructure: Lead Data Center design including rack/cabinet layouts, complex power planning ($N+1$, $2N$ redundancy, PDU distribution), and DCIM tool integration. Modernization: Identify opportunities to transition legacy workloads into modern, containerized, or cloud-hybrid application environments. 2. Technical Leadership & Consultation Discovery & Analysis: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to map customer workloads and business requirements against technical gaps in their current state. HLD/LLD Excellence: Produce comprehensive High-Level and Low-Level Designs that serve as the blueprint for both sales approval and post-sales implementation. Proof of Value (PoV): Orchestrate complex POCs and technical workshops that demonstrate the tangible value of the proposed multi-vendor solutions. 3. Cyber Security Integration Resilience by Design: Ensure all infrastructure and application proposals align with industry security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Data Protection: Design immutable backup architectures and ransomware recovery strategies using tools like Rubrik, Cohesity, and Zerto. Threat Surface Reduction: Integrate security layers into the infrastructure stack to protect against lateral movement and data exfiltration. 4. Bid Management & Proposal Development Strategic Proposals: Lead technical responses for high-value RFPs/RFIs, ensuring the solution is commercially viable and technically superior. BoM Precision: Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BoM) with detailed technical justifications to minimize scope creep and maximize project success. Competitive Intelligence: Provide "kill-sheets" and competitive analysis to the sales team to differentiate our offerings from competitors. 5. Collaboration & Knowledge Excellence Ecosystem Alignment: Act as the technical liaison between Sales, Professional Services, and Vendor Alliance partners to stay ahead of product roadmaps. Mentorship: Conduct internal "Brown Bag" sessions and training to upskill junior engineers and account managers on emerging trends. Education: Minimum: Degree in Computer Science Desired: IT industry/vendor certifications Experience: Minimum: 5 years Desired: 7+ years Compliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.
