BILINGUAL INFUSION NURSE (CASUAL)

We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. The nurse will administer infusion therapy for GreenShield-NKS in Ottawa: Provide exceptional patient and customer service in keeping with GreenShield-NKS Health values. Administer intravenous therapy and monitor patients under the care of a physician. Administer intramuscular vaccination and TB skin testing as ordered Take appropriate action in situations where the safety and well-being of the patient may be compromised. Adhere to best work safety practices and procedures Report Adverse Events as needed Adhere to nursing practices as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Commitment to continuing education Minimum of 1 year experience with IVs, hospital nursing preferred Experience with IV antibiotics, and biologics preferred Experience with Pediatric patient population an asset TRAVEL TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS This role supports multiple infusion clinic locations. As such, the successful candidate must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to varying clinic sites within the local region as operational needs arise. Ability to travel between clinic locations on scheduled workdays Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle Flexibility to support different clinic locations with advance notice
