About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on Business Development Representative role on a small, fast-growing go-to-market team at a post-seed AI SaaS company bringing modern sales intelligence to wholesale distribution — an underserved and high-opportunity industry. You'll own prospecting end-to-end and play a direct role in shaping how the company sells, with early exposure to company-building and cross-functional decision-making. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the full prospecting pipeline — from outreach through to closing — via phone, email, and social media with wholesale decision-makers. - Test and iterate on both outbound and inbound lead generation, doubling down on what works and cutting what doesn't. - Become the in-house expert on the product, the wholesale market, and customer needs to persuade rather than just pitch. - Independently research B2B prospects and build sales materials and presentations that resonate. - Write and refine call scripts and communication templates, and share learnings through internal trainings. - Identify and adopt AI tools to move faster and experiment with new approaches. - Contribute to shaping GTM strategy, messaging, and customer-facing processes at an early stage. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Up to 7 years of professional experience in B2B SaaS sales or a closely related field. - Comfort with outbound sales channels — phone, email, and social outreach. - Tech-savvy mindset and/or genuine interest in the industrial or wholesale sector. - Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal) — this is essential. - Ability to independently research prospects and produce compelling sales materials. - Strong customer-facing skills: you enjoy talking to customers, can build conviction, and follow through reliably. - Entrepreneurial drive — you want to build from scratch and are comfortable with ambiguity. - Goal-oriented and resilient, with a positive attitude toward challenges. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany. Candidates must be fully eligible to work in Germany — visa sponsorship is not available.
