SHIPPING COORDINATOR

Position Description: The Shipping Coordinator supports the mission of Anchor Fabrication Kansas by supporting the production workflow through proper and adequate distribution of incoming materials and products. Key Job Responsibilities: Analyzes incoming product and ‘Available to Ship’ report to plan shipments. Utilizes ERP system to confirm correct job and customer order are used when posting parts and preparing pack slips. Confirms job paperwork is appropriately completed before processing. Utilizes ERP system to prepare packing slips and associated shipping documents. Prepares products for shipping by stabilizing products to reduce the possibility of being damaged during delivery. Maintains adequate records of all items shipped. Submits shipping paperwork to the accounting department. Works closely with customer service and production to insure timely delivery of products to customers. Assists customers with orders being picked up. Provides great customer service when assisting truck drivers. Loads, unloads, and moves products into inventory. Operates forklift to move parts, pallets, and load trucks. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Assists in arranging transportation as required. Assists in providing direction for department with guidance from manager.
