Sr Developer, Enterprise Applications

Performs complex software development activities for enterprise applications supporting Energy Platforms and Cardlock. Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports a new internally built Card Management Platform, secure APIs, event-driven integrations, front-end experiences, and data migration capabilities. Works independently as a senior individual contributor while collaborating with developers, analysts, architecture, infrastructure, cloud, security, data, vendors, and business stakeholders.

- Application Development & Product Delivery (80%): Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise application solutions, primarily the greenfield Card Management Platform. Build object-oriented services using C# and/or Python, modern front-end interfaces using React or similar technologies, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, provider abstractions, and AWS components. Deliver card lifecycle, customer, account, fleet, driver, restriction, limit, reporting, self-service, printer, fuel-network, and ERP workflows. Own solutions through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and production support. - Data & ERP Migration Support (10%): Develop SQL scripts, ETL processes, migration utilities, data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and exception handling. Analyze source and destination data structures and support accurate ERP and platform migrations. - Technical Collaboration & Standards (10%): Participate in technical design, code reviews, quality reviews, estimation, planning, risk and dependency communication, documentation, production readiness, and continuous improvement of API, integration, migration, monitoring, and support practices. - Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level. - Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. - Complete other duties as assigned. - Mentor junior developers. - Support internal training and documentation.

To be considered you must have the legal right to work in United States without additional sponsorship. - High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of degree. - Five or more years of professional software development experience required. - Experience developing REST APIs, enterprise integrations, event-driven applications, React or similar front-end interfaces, relational database solutions, ETL and migration utilities, and production support solutions required - AWS certification preferred. - Microsoft/.NET certification preferred. - Strong object-oriented development skills using C# and/or Python. - REST API design, authentication, authorization, API security, event-driven architecture, and React or similar front-end development. - SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, ETL, data validation, migration scripting, and reconciliation. - AWS Lambda, SNS, S3, and RDS preferred. - Cardlock, wholesale fuel, commercial fleet fueling, petroleum distribution, PDI, CFN, Voyager, PacPride, NetworkFuels, or card-printer experience preferred. - Source control, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production readiness. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills. - Ability to translate business requirements into practical, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
