About the role
Position Overview: As a Warehouse Auditor you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of selected & completed pallets through systematic inspections, analysis and compliance assessments. The role is crucial to maintaining inventory, integrity, reducing errors and enhancing overall warehouse performance. Responsibilities: • Uses powered industrial equipment (center riders, long-forks, forklifts etc) in a safe manner, employing proper lifting techniques when performing job tasks, and adhering to the safety rules at all times • Conducting regular physical audits including but not limited to selected pallets to verify accuracy – products match orders and identifying discrepancies; receiving to ensuring ti-hi’s are correct; verifying code dates are entered correctly to forklift auditing -ensuring the correct product was put in the reserve slots • Conducting audits at store level per customer requests to ensure accuracy of delivered product, product quality etc. • Upon completion of audits – ensuring any necessary corrections are made prior to the order being shipped • Communicating improper placement of products to appropriate parties so a solution can be in place • Utilizing inventory management systems and tools to reconcile discrepancies and maintaining real time data accuracy • Collaborating with relevant teams to address and rectify any discrepancies or quality issues • Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations and industry standards • Maintaining detailed records of audit findings, discrepancies and corrective actions taken • Communicating audit results to management in a clear and concise manner • Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse • Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Environment: • Warehouse Perishable – approx. 26F - 60F Schedule: 4 schedules available • Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm start ◦ OR • 2 at Sunday - Thursday 10:00am ◦ OR • Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am start Experience: • Preferred: One (1) year of distribution, warehouse or selection experience • Preferred: MHE experience (Electric pallet jacks such as center riders or long forks; forklifts) • Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership Skills: • Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift • Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment – getting on and off equipment throughout shift • Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis • Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality • Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
