Ultrasound Technician

Full Benefits/ 401K/ Dental/ Vision/ Health Must know how to perform non-invasive vascular and general ultrasound exams including Echocardiograms ( MUST), Carotid Doppler, Venous Doppler, Abdominal Aorta, Renal Artery Doppler, Thyroid Ultrasound, Abdominal Ultrasound, and Arterial Doppler. · Utilize open, professional communication, verbal, non-verbal, and written, to directly interact with physicians, patients, guests, and other health team members. · Make decisions of moderate difficulty that reflect both knowledge and good judgment. · Handle confidential information regarding patient activities within HIPAA guidelines. · Demonstrate an effective working knowledge of all equipment as related to their job functions. · Notifies head technician of any positive findings that need attention. · Performs necessary equipment checks and QC procedure and reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. · Maintain adequate supplies of materials for vascular lab. · Attends required staff meetings. · Performs other duties as assigned
