Sewing Machine Operator IV - WS Reports to: Manufacturing Production Supervisor Supervises: N/A Summary Statement: The person in this position operates various machines used in industrial sewing following established work and safety procedures. Essential Job Functions Check all safety devices, assuring they are in place and in working order prior to operating the machine. Thread machine and change bobbin as needed. Retrieve/distribute materials as needed. Prior to sewing, inspect and repair any operations incorrectly done, including unacceptable stitches, on materials provided to you. Operate various automatic machines without the use of guides, completing the most difficult operations within the product line in which you are working. Non-Essential Job Functions Attend training and meetings as scheduled. Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
