About the role:
As a Junior WordPress Developer, you'll join our Creative team and play an important role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress websites. Working closely with designers and cross-functional teams, you'll create responsive, high-quality digital experiences that support our global business and help connect patients with clinical research opportunities.
As a Junior WordPress Developer, you would be responsible for:
- Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites using Elementor and other standard development tools.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect websites.
- Build and maintain reusable website components using Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Ensure multilingual websites meet translation, quality, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website layout, styling, functionality, and content issues while following WordPress best practices.
- Support WordPress customisations, integrations, and ongoing technical improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation relating to website updates and development activities.
We would like you to have:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Hands-on experience developing responsive websites using Elementor.
- Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience translating Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect websites.
- Familiarity with WordPress customisations, integrations, or basic workflow automation.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
