Bakery Operator

Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join its existing team. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, knead, shape, and bake different types of bread and pastries. • Ensure the quality, consistency, and freshness of finished products. • Adapt recipes according to locally available raw materials. • Control the temperatures, fermentation times, and baking of products. • Ensure proper stock management by applying the FIFO principle. • Participate in inventory and manage raw material stocks. • Clean and maintain equipment and the workstation in compliance with HACCP standards. • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production. • Advise customers on products and ensure good presentation on display. Job Requirements: • Diploma in Bakery (CAP, BEP, CQP) or any equivalent qualification • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in bakery within distribution, manufacturing, or any similar environment • Positive, proactive team spirit with a dynamic personality • Strong skills in communication, organization, and time management • Detail-oriented and results-driven • Ability to work under pressure • Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and irregular hours We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all team members.
