About the role
Job Purpose Provides evidence-based individual therapy focused on building resiliency, illness management, and functional recovery for individuals experiencing early psychosis. Qualifications Master’s degree in behavioral health field, required. Must have all necessary course work and meet all the requirements to be licensed within the State of Missouri, at a minimum be eligible to begin supervision. Experience with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders, preferred. Core Job Duties Deliver Individual Resiliency Training (IRT) interventions using evidence-based practices. Assist individuals in identifying, setting, and achieving personalized recovery goals. Teach coping strategies, wellness practices, and illness self-management skills to promote long-term recovery. Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual therapeutic interventions. Provide psychoeducation focused on symptom management, recovery, and relapse prevention. Deliver case management services and coordinate care with internal and external providers. Actively participate in weekly NAVIGATE/Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) team meetings. Contribute to collaborative treatment planning, including six-month treatment plan reviews and updates. Participate in required trainings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development. Promote shared decision-making by partnering with clients and families throughout the treatment process. Engage and support natural supports, including family members, caregivers, and other significant individuals. Maintain a recovery-oriented, person-centered, and strengths-based approach in all aspects of service delivery. Coordinate services across multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated, comprehensive care. Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care. Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
