Requirements What experience would we like you to have: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Heating or Refrigeration or a relevant college qualification. Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps experience in installing, servicing or commissioning systems will be an advantage, but not essential. FGAS – Advantageous for engineers looking to join our Operations and Maintenance division. A Full UK Driving Licence Responsibilities What will you be doing? We have three divisions here at Rendesco, meaning three different opportunities! See below: Operations and Maintenance: As our Junior Heat Pump Service Engineer . Your duties will include assisting with: Maintenance & Repair Conducting routine servicing, fault finding, repair and preventive maintenance of industrial, commercial and domestic ground and air source heat pumps. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in heat pump systems, plant rooms and associated equipment. Design and Build: As our Junior Installation Engineer in our Installation team, your duties will include assisting with: Installation of heat pump systems. Installation of Heat Interface Units. Pipefitting of heating/cooling/hot water distribution systems. Installation of fusion weld pipework. Installation of lagging/ insulation. Basic electrical work to the various parts of our heat pump systems. Home Energy: As a Junior Heating Engineer within our new Home Energy division, your duties will include: Installing heat pumps, heating interface units (HIU) and the relevant connections. Fault-finding and fixing problems that arise by using your technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve operational issues. Benefits Generous salary dependant on experience.
