Job Title: OSHC Educator (Casual) Location: Cardijn College – Galilee (Aldinga) About Cardijn College: Cardijn College is a leading R–12 co-educational Catholic school in the Marist tradition, inspired by the charisms of Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and St. Marcellin Champagnat. About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team on a casual basis. As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children in a safe, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs. • Support children’s inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care where required. • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members. • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and the National Quality Framework. • Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration tasks. • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities. About You: • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with children and families. • Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable). • Strong organisational skills and ability to follow instructions in varied situations. • Good physical fitness to engage in active play and safely set up resources. • Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality. Essential Requirements: • Certificate III in a relevant discipline or equivalent competencies. • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance. • Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN). • Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements). • Ability to comply with Work Health & Safety obligations.
