About the role
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's level education in psychology, counseling, sociology, social work, or related field. Our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team is in search of a dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to become part of our team! This is a full-time position within an existing team aimed at providing effective, community-centered mental health services within a multidisciplinary framework. A Note About Shift Availability: Shifts will range from early morning, mid morning, and mid day. This includes an on call after hours rotation and flexing hours as necessary. Additionally, since we will be operating 7 days a week, this will include working some holidays. Your desired shift can be discussed upon interview. What You’ll Do: Provide direct mental health services in various community settings Support clients through intensive case management & treatment planning Deliver crisis intervention (including on-call rotation) Offer skills training, psychosocial rehabilitation, medication education and assist participants with medication management Assist with community integration Provide participant transportation Maintain accurate and timely documentation Complete intakes including consent, ANSA, and recovery plan Teach individuals how to advocate for themselves in multiple environments Enjoy a team approach where you will have another staff member with you when going to most places in the community, including clients' homes and other unfamiliar locations.
