As an ambassador of Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana products and services, our Fresh Pasta Maker is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana. Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana ambassadors are expected to actively engage with guests and spend quality time with each customer. Job Title: Fresh Pasta Maker Reports To: Fresh Pasta Manager Job Description: The Fresh Pasta Maker is responsible for helping to oversee the production of the fresh pasta and pasta -related products in Eataly’s pasta -making facility. This is a hands-on position where the majority of time will be spent creating and executing pasta products according to Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana standards. The Fresh Pasta Maker will create pasta s in accordance with Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana unique recipes and will ensure that the products produced meet our quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary food area. Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for creating different kinds of pasta according to Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana recipes and standards, and for experimenting and collaborating on new pasta to be sold in the store. • Advises customers on their pasta choices while weighing and packaging their choices, delivering outstanding customer service. • Consistently checks products and adjusts methods to achieve high-quality pasta . • Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area • Provides support as needed to all Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana departments Minimum Qualifications: • At minimum 1 year of experience in a production-related food environment, with experience in fresh pasta making preferred. • Strong knife and tool knowledge with demonstrable skills. • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is highly preferred. • Must have completely open availability to suit the needs of Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana. • Knowledge of and passion for the food industry, with a strong interest in food and high-quality products; the desire to learn and grow in his or her fresh pasta knowledge. • Strong organizational and decision-making skills, along with the ability to recognize what needs to be prioritized and when. • Ability to work weekends a MUST
