JOB SUMMARY The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising custodial staff on a government-operated work site, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance while fostering an inclusive, respectful work environment for all employees, including those with disabilities. Essential Functions: • Supervision & Leadership: Oversee custodial staff performing standard or aseptic cleaning and sanitation tasks; assign work based on facility priorities and staffing needs. Training includes the performance of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping/vacuuming, trash removal, wet and dry mopping, floor stripping/waxing, restroom cleaning, disinfection, and glass cleaning. • Training & Compliance: Train staff on proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, safety precautions, OSHA regulations, PPE, and disability-inclusive work practices. • Professionalism/Work Ethic: Demonstrate personal accountability, effective work habits, and understand the impact of non-verbal communication on professional work image.
