About the Position The Day Program Supervisor plays a key leadership role within Block’s Adult Day Services department, overseeing daily operations and supporting a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. Working collaboratively with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams, you'll help create meaningful opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pursue their goals, build skills, and thrive in their communities. You are a motivated professional who is passionate about leadership, service excellence, meaningful work, and making an impact while ensuring compliance with New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations and agency standards. Please note: this is a management position. Key Responsibilities Program Planning & Service Coordination Plan, coordinate, and oversee services and goal-oriented programming that promote independence and meaningful outcomes for people supported by Block. Assess the strengths, needs, and progress of persons supported, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized goals, service plans, and support strategies. Staff Leadership & Development Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in implementing service plans, delivering quality programming, and maintaining person-centered practices. Reinforce staff training, agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure effective and compliant service delivery. Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for persons supported and program staff. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance Review attendance, data collection, and program documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing and regulatory standards. Monitor program operations and documentation practices to support quality services and compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies. Communication & Collaboration Oversee channels of communication with families, care teams, state agencies, and other approved stakeholders regarding persons supported and program needs. Contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and team-oriented work culture that values communication, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
