Quality Lab Tech Job Overview The Quality Lab Tech is responsible for sampling, preparing and testing fine and course aggregates and associated products for Little River Materials at various production facilities and associated plants and terminals. Responsibilities Perform testing and sampling procedures such as Stockpile sampling, Belt samples, Splitting, Gradation, and other applicable tests as needed. Proof read all reports before submitting Report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformities Notify Supervisor of all out of spec samples Properly identify and label all saved material Fulfill customer requests-Additional analysis, Sample requests Keep certifications current- ALDOT Aggregate Technician Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment Regularly inspect and clean equipment Report and correct equipment irregularities Perform or contract required calibration verification of scales at the designated times Notify Supervisor when supplies need to be ordered
